Me, Myself, My Hands, and My Creations Not on sales
Here I am, surrounded by the garments I’ve poured my heart and soul into. Every stitch, every seam, and every fabric choice is a testament to the values I hold dear: care, creativity, and a deep respect for the craft of making clothes.
You won’t find Black Friday deals here—not now, not ever. Let me tell you why.
The pieces I create are not just products; they’re stories. Stories of organic cotton and Tencel fabrics sourced responsibly, brocades crafted in Lyon, and printed fabrics made locally with love. Stories of garments repaired, repurposed, and cherished for years, not tossed aside with the next seasonal trend. Each piece is made with thought and intention, one by one, to honor the diversity of bodies, sizes, and genders that make us all unique.
Sales like Black Friday, with their rush for bargains, are built on unsustainable foundations. They encourage overproduction, overconsumption, and undervaluation—of the work, the materials, and the people who make them. That’s not what I want for my creations or my brand.
At Remesalt, I believe in fair pricing every single day of the year. The price of each piece reflects its true value: the time it took to design and make, the quality of the fabrics, and the care taken to ensure it lasts. Sales events that slash prices compromise this value and undermine the principles of sustainability and fairness I’ve built this brand on.
Instead of participating in the frenzy of fast fashion and fleeting discounts, I choose to slow down. To make only what is needed, repair what is loved, and value the work of every hand involved in the process. It’s a path that might not be the easiest, but it’s the one that feels right.
So, no, I’m not on sale this Black Friday—or any other Friday for that matter. Instead, I’m here, creating pieces that will last, cherishing the hands that make them, and celebrating the stories they tell.
Thank you for being part of this journey, for choosing slow fashion, and for honoring the craft and care that go into every piece.
With love,
